Whether it's a control retrofit, machine tool retrofit or a machine tool rebuild we can help you meet the challenging production demands by upgrading your existing NC and CNC controls to the latest available technology from manufacturers such as GE-Fanuc, Giddings & Lewis and Mitsubishi. The Daniluk Corp. offers complete NC and CNC retrofits where every electrical machine component is replaced or remanufactured. A machine retrofit can bring new life to your old machine tools and will help you increase the return on your original investment. The capabilities of the new generation of controls will far surpass those of older controls. They will also allow you to add options such as probes and rotary tables. Many of the new controls take advantage of Open Architecture Software. The Daniluk Corp. provides a complete set of documentation with all the retrofits performed. The documentation includes a set of electrical schematics, ladder diagram, macro program listing, machine parameter listings, and a custom prepared section describing the specifics of the machine operation.

NC and CNC Retrofits:

Replace control with a new modern CNC control
Replace servo drive with the new servo drive
Replace servo motors for X, Y and Z axis with new servo motors
Spindle motor replaced or repaired
Spindle drive replaced with new drive
Replace or repair the precision ball screw
Repair or replace the lubrication system, coolant system and hydraulic system
Re-wire the machine and electrical cabinet

Part cut run-off test at Daniluk and customer

Manual Machine Retrofits

We can retrofit nearly every type of manual machine you may have. We have experience in retrofitting most types of manual machine tools including, but not limited to: lathes, mills, VTL's, boring mills, horizontal boring mills and grinders.

The old controller will be replaced with a CNC control
Motor drive will be replaced with a servo drive
All axis motors (X, Y & Z) will be replaced with servo motors
All axis lead screws will be replaced with precision ballscrews
The manual lubrication system will be replaced with an auto lubrication system
The coolant system will be repaired or replaced
The electrical cabinet will be updated as required
The machine and electrical cabinet will be rewired
Replace the light system if necessary
Repaint the machine if necessary
